Mench hits a home run

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Mench hits a home run
This was originally intended to be another practice game against Nippon Ham but got rescheduled to one against the Swallows. Tigers lost this one 5-1 though Mench did hit a home run. Tigers pitching was again at fault - Shiranita, Nohmi, Kuroda and Uezono all giving up runs. Ishikawa was the only pitcher who remained scoreless.

Kanemoto's recovery continues and he is now running 30 metres in 3.99 seconds. Baldris too is recovering well. Williams is now trying a higher arm delivery which hopefully will help his pitching
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
