Tigers v Marines

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Tigers v Marines
Today (7th March) Tigers played the Marines and ended up with a 4-4 tie. Uezono started for the Tigers and gave up three runs in the first. He continued giving up hits until the fourth but managed to avoid more runs. Atchison was next and he gave up a run leaving the Marines with a 4-0 lead. Then came Resop who stopped the scoring with a much improved pitching performance. Marines meanwhile were beginning to wobble and their weak relief proved to be a problem. Tigers added two runs in the seventh and another two in the eighth to tie the game. This is how it ended - with an encouraging fightback.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
