Wayne Grasczyk and the 2004 Controversy

Wayne Grasczyk and the 2004 Controversy
I like reading Wayne Grasczyk's articles in the Japan Times - often they are very interesting. But I find myself puzzled by one aspect of his commentries. He seems to have a blind spot over Hoshino and the Tigers' role in blocking last year's contraction of the Pacific and Central Leagues. His current article praises all and sundry except Hoshino. In fact there is no mention at all. Does he have some grudge against the Tigers which prevents him acknowledging their role?
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
