由規が圧巻の１５４キロデビューを飾った。ヤクルト高校生ドラフト１巡目・佐藤由規投手（１８＝仙台育英）が２５日、練習試合・楽天戦（沖縄・浦添）で実戦初登板した。１回表２死から３番草野を三振に仕留めた１球は１５４キロを記録し、２回無安打無失点、２奪三振に抑えた。次回登板予定は３月６日の日本ハム戦（札幌ドーム）で、ライバル中田翔内野手（１８＝大阪桐蔭）と初対決する。
