According to this topic, there is some interest by the Arizona Diamondbacks in Takatsu. The White Sox have 10 days to work out a trade with the Diamondbacks.

Yesterday,(July 18th) rumored that the Diamondbacks and White Sox were close to a deal for reliever Shingo Takatsu. Takatsu was designated for assignment by the White Sox on Monday(July 18th).

Diamondbacks GM Joe Garagiola Jr, said he wouldn't discuss specific players. Also the Diamondbacks have been looking for relief help, since closer Brandon Lyon was injured.
