Is there any chance that another team will pick him up? He will be 37 next month and with two consecutive seasons with an ERA above 7, is there still interest in him

I heard through a friend that he has no interest in coming back to Japan, what do you think will be his next move?

This article, says the Yankees have signed Nomo to a minor league contract. Nomo will be assigned to AAA Columbus after he clears waivers. Nomo will likely pitch one game with the Clippers and then be promoted to the Yankees.
