White Sox Release Takatsu

Discussion in the Nichi-Bei forum
White Sox Release Takatsu
The Chicago White Sox released pitcher Shingo Takatsu who was optioned to AAA Charlotte July 28th. Takatsu went 7-6 with 27 saves and a 3.46 ERA in 90 games.

There were talks of Arizona acquiring Takatsu, though they just acquired Buddy Groom from the Yankees. Also, Brandon Lyon starts rehab soon.

Is there is a chance Takatsu might get signed by a NPB team this off-season if he can't find a taker in the majors?
