This week's Pro Yakyu Report features the Chunichi Dragons' runs scored versus runs allowed and what their wins expected are. there are some interesting numbers in 2011 and 2012 for the league as a whole.

Too cool yet again and yes it's me yet again with more questions.

So the newspaper you have on here. Looks like it covers the teams pretty well, is it a Tokyo paper or one for Yokohama?

So the manager took the blame for Morgan in LF? Did Morgan make error(s) or simply play poorly? What is Morgan's attitude like in Japan?

I saw Ramirez played on Monday. What was his attitude like being out so much?

Thanks Michael!!

I was just kind of brushing over the news of the day. Funny that that's what gets commented on. The paper is the standard Kanto region Nikkan Sports, one of several daily sports newspapers (some consider them tabloids - which certainly does describe the entertainment section).

Nonetheless, Morgan didn't make an error so much misread a couple of fly balls to left. He's played right and center very well. But for some reason, left field mystified him - at least in this game.

Morgan had been taken out of the lineup for a while due to his complete lack of offense. But he's started to turn that around recently as well. He's making the adjustments necessary and has a great attitude despite a few bumps in the road.

Rami-chan is holding up through this slump. And based on his performance as DH last night (May 20), it's looking like he may have broken through it. He'll get his left field position back if he's producing offensively. The reason he was benched was because his offense had ceased to make of for his lack of speed in left field on defense. While I'm sure Ramirez would like to play every inning of every game, he sincerely wants to contribute in any manner that he can. He's got a good attitude to get through this.
