Mayumi's first practice game

This game was against Nippon Ham who won 5-2 which disappointed Mayumi. The problem was Kuroda who gave up four runs in and hasn't done his chances to make the top team any good at all. The game was a good opportunity to give the second level of the first team a run out and they out hit Nippon Ham 11-8. Base running was better, Tigers engineered a double steal but no one strung a series of hits together. It also saw the first use of the 15 second rule (each pitch must only take 15 seconds) and Fujikawa was the one affected.

On an unrelated note Baldris has an inflamation of his wrist and cannot bat for a week. Shiranita who has been impressing in camp will probably start the next practice game against the Swallows on the fifteenth.
