Errors save the Tigers

Yokohama threw the match away. Leading 2-0 in the ninth, a series of errors allowed Tigers to bounce back and put runners in scoring postions. First second fluffed a Lin grounder allowing runners on first and second. Then Yamaguchi threw a wild pitch which took the runners to second and third. The experienced Sekimoto (pinch hitting) put the ball safely through the infield to even the scores. Another error by Fujita put a runner on second and then Shunsuke hit over the centre fielder who was standing too far in to bring home the runner 3-2 Tigers. Standridge had started the game for Tigers and clearly not enjoyed pitching to Fujii. Fujii's sheer mediocrity might well become a serious problem. It was raining and cloudy during the match whcih Mayumi watched wearing sunglasses! Ryota Arai fielded third replacing his brother but exhibited a tendency to stand too far inside his base. Incidently, Komiyama replaced Fujii and was just as mediocre.
