After the hiatus of the earthquake exhibtion games resumed and Tigers played Nippon Ham. Messenger started and gave up two runs on six innings of work. Tigers were rather stymied and didn't generate anything until the sixth when they picked up a run courtesy of Kanemoto. They levelled the score in the eighth and that was the end result 2-2. Johjima caught the entire game and this is really a positive sign.
