Fujii's musings

Fujii who failed as first team catcher in 2011 seems to believe that he is going to start as first team catcher in 2012. One would say he is delusional after being outclassed by Komiyama and with a restored Johjima available. If Johjima is fit then his bat wins out over Fujii every time and he is the better catcher by far. Komiyama hasn't shown much with the bat but has shown considerably more catching ability than the one dimensional Fujii. The amazing thing is that Fujii is also under the impression that he is the first choice catcher rather than a fill in catcher who was chosen because he was a crony of Mayumi. One hopes someone disabuses him of his notions of adequacy soon.
