Tigers played against Hawks at Yahoo Dome on the 6th. Okazaki was starting catcher and seems to have improved significantly over his past performances. Anyway he extracted four competent innings from Andoh, who gave up no runs. Brazell played left with Johjima at first and in the sixth with one on Brazell faced Kayama. The big man took a huge swing and sent the ball to left centre where Kidokoro (centre) failed to take the ball. The ball hit the wall and rolled away from left allowing Brazell to round the bases for a two run inside the park home run. Johjima hit a solo home run in the seventh which was enough to give Tigers a 3-2 victory on the day. Brazell showed some nice speed round the bases.

The big guy can run once he gets up to speed. I'm certain that with the older ball it would have been a homer!
