Tigers played another round against Chunichi and came away with another win. This time Messenger was the pitcher with Fujii as catcher. I was beginning to wonder what had happened to the little guy. It was all rather encouraging - Tigers beat Dragons 2-1 with Tigers scoring their runs in the first two innings. They then held the lead until Dragons picked up a run in the ninth. The closer issue is still not solved.
