2005 Hall of Fame Inductions
The 2005 Hall of Fame inductions took place on the 22nd at Seibu Invoice Dome during the first of two All Star games.

Three members were named to the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame:
  1. Marines' pitcher Choji Murata
  2. Former Lions' manager Masaaki Mori
  3. Announcer Masayori Shimura
