Nakamura Named Orix Manager
The Orix Buffaloes named Katsuhiro Nakamura manager of the Orix Buffaloes.

Nakamura, 56, was manager of the Hanshin Tigers from 1990 to the middle of the 1995 season. He was a second baseman with the Tigers from 1972 to 1982, batted .246 with 76 HRs and 219 RBIs in his career. He went 321-406-4 as manager for the Hanshin Tigers. Hi, I'm totally disappointed in Orix hiring Nakamura as manager. I hope Ohgi has control over personnel. Nakamura wasn't very good with Hanshin (Noda for Matsunaga, LOL). A 321-406-4 doesn't inspire confidence. I thought there were a lot better choices out there.
