Marines Ni-gun Wins It All

Discussion in the NPB News forum
Marines Ni-gun Wins It All
The Chiba Lotte Marines' farm team became nihon ichi by beating Hanshin's farm team 7-5. There are some amazing players ready to come up when the established stars decide to bow out. The outfield looks especially promising.

This might be a little late, but this page [NPB BIS] has a box score, albeit in Japanese though.

This page [NPB] also has the link to rosters to both the Tigers' and Marines' ni-gun teams. Isn't it ironic that the Tigers and Marines are playing in both the ni-gun and ichi-gun finals?

Not ironic perhaps, but certainly indicative of how both clubs have been adept at signing and nurturing young talent. Kyojin should take a leaf out of both books.
