Giants Re-sign Kuwata
The Yomiuri Giants re-signed P Musumi Kuwata to a 150 million yen contract, Kuwata recieved a 30% (100 million yen) pay cut from last year's salary.

Kuwata went 0-7 with a 7.25 ERA in 12 games last year. He has a career 172-140 record. Kuwata said "I've been pitching to reach 200 wins. I just don't want to give up." [Full Story - Japan Ball]

Thank goodness I am of "protected" Japanese ancestry, because if I had to earn a living with those numbers the past few years in the U.S., I'd be pumping gas.

I can still make millions featuring absolute garbage. Praise the NPB for foreign import limitations. He'd been obsolete - at the age of 30.

Nice job Giants. Why would you waste money on this guy? He is terrible.
