Dragons Re-Sign Kawai
The Chunichi Dragons re-signed infielder Masahiro Kawai. He will return for his 24th season. Kawai is the NPB's [and world professional] all-time sacrifice bunt leader. Last year he batted .294 (5-17) with 0 HR and 6 RBI. [Daily Yomiuri Article] [Career Stats]
