Nippon Ham No-Hitter Through 12
Three Fighters pitchers combined to no-hit the Hawks through 12 innings. Starting pitcher Yagi (Tomoya) threw 10 innings of no-hit ball and threw 150 pitches striking out 7 and walking 4.

Takeda (Hisashi) and Micheal Nakamura each threw and inning, while Kawashima drove in the only run with a groundout in the top of the 12th.

What an astonishing feat, but you'd never know it living in Tokyo, as the Giants were first to be covered in the sports shows. I hope Yagi can continue this type of performance, and give the Fighters some hope.
