Seattle/Oakland Games Cancelled
At 4:27PM PST, MLB.com [Link] announced that the Athletics/Mariners' trip to Japan has been cancelled. The teams will open the season stateside due to concerns with the "Iraq War." This is the lead news story on Seattle area TV and radio stations. Hundreds of Mariner fans were ready to board flights to Japan on Wednesday.
