This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

I turned the radio on just in time to hear Shinjo drive in the go ahead run in the bottom of the third inning. (I was driving home from a family day at Tokyo Disneyland where I ran into Benny Agbayani and his family at the lockers heading out.) I've heard a lot of flack about Shinjo, mainly due to his antics. But the thing that's impressed me the most about him has been his ability to put it all together in situations where it really counts. He likes the spotlight, and it's been numerous spotlight situations where he's really shined. He did so tonight.
