Lotte Acquires Expo/Nationals Outfielder Pascucci
The Chiba Lotte Marines have acquired another outfielder, who last played with the Montreal Expos, Valentino Pascucci. Here are his stats according to ESPN. That now gives the Marines five foreigners, four fielders and one pitcher.

Good acquisition.

Pascucci has considerable power and is patient (perhaps overly so) at the plate. Defensively, he's adequate in left and right (avgerage speed, but poor routes, strong arm) and average at first.

He should have received a better/earlier shot at a career in MLB.
