Hanshin Signs Red Sox Pitcher
The Hanshin Tigers announced the acquisition of Red Sox pitcher Jamie Brown. Brown only appeared in 4 games with the Red Sox, going 0-0 with a 5.87 ERA. Here are his stats according to ESPN [Link].

According to Nikkan Sports, Brown will be used as a starter. [Link - in Japanese]

It would appear, according to several local news sources, that Jamie Brown has decided not to go to Japan and instead accept a 1 year Minor League offer to stay with the Red Sox.
