Here are the assessments for the participants in the Tiger's Spring training camp.
5 - Superb preformance
Outfielders - Akahoshi, Katsuragi
Infielders - Imaoka
Pitchers - Vogelsang, Shoda, Iwata, Kubota
4 - Very good
Outfielders - Hiyama, Asai (yes former catcher)
Infielders - Saka, Arai, Fujimoto, Sekimoto, Toritani
Catchers - Noguchi
Pitchers - Kanemura, Nohmi, Fujita, Andoh, Fujikawa, Egusa, Atchison, Fukuhara, Shimoyanagi, Williams, Tamaki, Uezono
3 - Ordinary
Outfielders - Shoda, Ford
Infielders - Fujiwara
Catchers - Yano
Pitchers - Watanabe, Sugiyama, Hashimoto
2 - Try harder
Catchers - Kanoh, Shimizu
Pitchers - Tsutsui
Camp MVP was Iwata who gained an accelerated promotion to the rotation. Note these assessments do not necessarily translate to good performances in the season (for example Sekimoto and Yano both earned excellent ratings in last years camp but did not translate this into good season performances).
