This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Abe made his first appearance for Tigers and pitched one innings for no runs and no hits. Tigers won this one 5 to 3 getting to Buffaloes second pitcher Takagi. Imaoka and Arai both hit - Imaoka driving in two runs. Tigers pitching faded somewhat towards the end but was acceptable.

Tigers pitching let them down. Shoda, Uezono and then Nohmi gave away runs. Shoda started giving away three runs and then Uezono followed with another two in the fourth. Tigers scored 3 runs in the second (one of these a Sekimoto 2 run home run). Tigers tied the match in the eighth and Nohmi was summoned for the ninth. He started well enough then loaded the bases and gave away a walk off grand slam to the Buffaloes third base Tanaka. The Buffaloes won this 9 to 5.
