Tigers v Seibu

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Tigers v Seibu
A game to be played on the 13th was rained off but this one went ahead and a combination of Andoh's generosity and Seibu's relief ensured a victory for the Lions 7-3. Tigers started reasonably well scoring off a sacrifice fly in the first but wasting a bases loaded chance. Lions hit back but Tigers took the lead again in the second. Andoh though allowed four runs in the third to give Seibu a lead they never relinquished. Tigers added another run in the third and despite an attempt to score (which failed with a tag out) could never get it together. Lions added runs in the seventh and ninth to win the game comfortably. A positive start had not been built on and the Lions had seized and controlled the game.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
