It's Christmas Time

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
It's Christmas Time
Ginza Tanaka jewellers is selling a range of gold Tigers calenders for 2010 to comemerate the Tigers 75 anniversary and the year of the Tiger. The special exhibition example is 67 x 42 cm (6kg of gold) and valued at 30 million yen. If this is too expensive then you can also buy a 1 gram 24 karat gold business card sized calender for 7,000 yen each. Others include an A4 sized example for 20,000 yen and a set of eight badges for 5,000 yen. Ginza jewellers stores have made a history of selling expensive tat and this is just the latest in a long line of such products. For those interested they can be purchased at the jeweller's Shinsaibashi store in Osaka. You can see more at the links below.

Merry Christmas to you Christopher. I am afraid these will be above my budget but interesting.

One question if may ask you? Why are you not written as a writer for this website? Your blog is more active than any of the other sections on this website. There is a list of writers but you are not there? How can this be so?

I value your effort very much sir.

Many thanks for the kind comments.

As for your question you would have to ask Michael (the owner of the site) but I would suspect that the writers are actually those who publish either aticles or books on Japanese baseball. Bloggers are those of us who write online but without being published in the old style print media. I suspect that this is the reason.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
