Akahoshi retires

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Akahoshi retires
Akahoshi has announced his retirement from professional baseball today. This is due to health issues (his season was cut short in 2009) and the possibility that the next injury could paralyse him. This is another blow to Tigers and one wishes the Red Star well in the future. He will be missed - a career appraisal will follow but there is now only one of the 2001 Draft left in Tigers - Kanoh.
