The Open Sen starts

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
The Open Sen starts
Tigers first Open Sen game against their old kantoku Okada saw Buffaloes blown out of the water. The score was 11-1 to Tigers. Futagami started for Tigers and pitched 4 solid innings giving up 1 run. Hirano started for Buffaloes and gave up a run in his first innings and then six in his third. He was replaced by Nakayama who gave up runs as Tigers took 17 hits off the Buffaloes pitchers. Murton, Yamato, Toritani, Sakurai and Kanoh all hit home runs. Arai had three hits and Sekimoto hit two two base hits, one of which drove in a runner. The pitching was solid and it was nice to see Futagami do so well.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
