Tigers in Hokkaido

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Tigers in Hokkaido
For their next open sen series Tigers travelled to Sapporo to play Nippon Ham. Before the game there was a minute's silence in memory of Kobayashi who died recently. The game was pretty much under the control of Tigers pitching (lost 6-3 though) except for one pitcher - Fukuhara. He gave up all six runs Nippon Ham scored also giving up all the hits as well in an ominous sign for the season. Tigers should have taken the opportunity to get rid of him. Fossom started for Tigers and pitched three scoreless innings followed by one from Messenger. Let's hope Fukuhara starts the season in ni-gun.

Yes, let's hope this is all they need to see to realize Fukuhara has no place in the rotation. There are too many young arms in the organization to give him yet another shot.
