Andoh can't hold the lead

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Andoh can't hold the lead
This is just open sen - well actually no. Even though its an open sen game its still a Tigers Giants contest. This means that its played with all the passion and commitment the two rivals are able to generate. The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fifth. Here Murton led off with a two base. Hirano hit to left and Murton was home 1-0 Tigers. Unfortunately Andoh could not hold the lead - a two base hit by Takahashi was followed by a home run hit from the annoying Sakamoto 2-1 Giants. This is the way the score stayed as the relief pitchers of both sides ensured that the batters got nowhere. Tigers actually out hit the Giants but they wasted another two base hit from Brazell in the seventh. These need to be converted.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
