Pitching woes

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Pitching woes
Tigers suffered heavily in this game losing 9-3 to the BayStars. For the third time in a row they took a one run lead in the first and then gave up four runs in the bottom. This time the victim was Kubo who didn't pitch well at all giving up 8 runs. Tigers couldn't respond and only scored three runs in all. What this series of games does demonstrate is that pitching will need to improve if the Tigers are to have any chance of a top three finish. Kanemoto hasn't done anything so far but we'll see what happens when the season starts.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
