Tigers win one

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Tigers win one
The game the day before against the Swallows was rained off and so Iwata found himself pitching against Seibu. Things went very well for Tigers ignited by a six run fourth. Brazell, Hirano, Shibata, Johjima and Komiyama all drove in runs as Tigers had a bit of fun. Komiyama has been hitting quite well and if Johjima can't make it for the start of the season then he is looking more and more the logical choice for starting catcher (expect Fujii - logic doesn't count here). Seibu tried to fight back and took three off Standridge but Fujikawa was on hand to ensure the victory 6-3 to Tigers.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
