Fujii does blow it

Discussion in the Tiger Tails forum
Fujii does blow it
After his near mess up Fujii started as catcher and was paired with the luckless Futagami. It was then a matter of how long it would take before Fujii messed up. The answer was three innings. Carp started to score in the fourth (one run) and continued in the fifth and sixth. A change of pitcher merely continued to produce runs and Fujii was pulled after the sixth to be replaced by Komiyama. The run flow dried up. Fujii was also undistinguished with the bat and managed to spurn a two out chance with runnners on first and third. Tigers best chance came in the sixth when they loaded the bases but Brazell lined out to third. Carp walked away with a 5-0 victory and at the moment Tigers are struggling to score.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
