I think you added one to many zero's there, 2,000, not 2,0000. 
Furuta and Nomura will no doubt reach the mark this year, barring major injuries, but Furuta is struggling bad right now as he's still without a hit through the first five games.

It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. I hope that Tanaka will have enough playing time to reach this fest. Ishii (BayStars) is at 1,805 hits, but I think he will have to wait one more season.
