This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Tad Iguchi's hair is pretty bad also. The "2-block look" (long on top, buzzed on the sides and back) was popular in the late 1980s and early '90s, especially in Japan, but that hairstyle went away (thank god) over 10 years ago. The only people you see with that hairstyle nowadays are people in Korea and Asian-Americans in the U.S., but even then the number of people who sport that look are few and far between.
BTW, I like Iguchi, but I hope the ChiSox don't win the ALCS, just because they don't deserve it. That call in Game 2 (Pierszynski's strikeout) was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. The other umpires have no backbone. They should've had the guts to reverse the call.
