Cliff Brumbaugh?

Cliff Brumbaugh?
Does anyone know what's going on with Cliff Brumbaugh of the Orix Buffaloes? He hasn't done well this season and hasn't played in weeks. Was he demoted? Released? Injured? Rotting on the bench?

He hasn't been released and is now playing for Orix's farm team. He is hitting .327 (17 for 52) as of today. Orix is unlikely to keep him for next year, though.

Thanks. Could you tell me the name of the team? Is there somewhere online where I can find the stats of said team? I appreciate any help.

He's on the Orix Buffaloes (as mentioned above). His ichi-gun (top team) statistics can be found here [Borisov's Pro Yakyu].

Please visit the link for Borisov's site at the top of this page to get a lot more information in English about what's going on in NPB. In fact, look through all of the "Related Links" at the top of the page. This thread also mentions him a number of times (not always in a very good light).

Thanks. I'm familiar with that site but was interested in knowing the name of the minor league team and a location for those stats. Sorry if I was not clear.

The name of Orix's farm team is Surpass Kobe. Surpass is a Japanese construction company and purchased the naming rights of the team.

The stats can be found here [Buffaloes Official Site]. Sorry, this is in Japanese only.
