Congratulations Dragons
Whilst the Tigers helped to make the pennant race an exciting one, I would just like to say congratulations to the Dragons for an excellent win. They worked hard and played fairly, and fully deserve the pennant this year. I wish them well for the Japan Series.

I'll second those congratulations.

And how nice it was to see them celebrate the victory at Tokyo Dome!

It should be an interesting Japan Series with (as looks likely after they won the Second Stage first game) Nippon Ham.

Well, the Tigers kept things interesting there at the end, but finally it's no swim in the Doutonburi after all. Congrats to Chunichi on a job well done, and gambatte in the Japan Series.

The high quality of the competition made for a very exciting season (even for the first month or so when the Giants were on fire).

Kudos to the Tigers for never giving up, and for making the Dragons work for everything they got.

I have to enjoy the present. There are already rumors about Ochiai not being back next year, and then there will be the usual friction between players and the team haggling for more money, etc., etc.

Coming from a Tigers fan, that means something. Thanks!

As a more-or-less Nagoya-native in Japan, I've become a Dragons fan by default, although I've always viewed the Tigers as the main rival for dominance in the Central League. This year's run for the pennant was certainly proof of that, and I hope the competitiveness will pay off for the Dragons in the Japan Series.

On the nastier end though, I feel like I'm going to have take some potshots at Tsuyoshi Shinjo, just because.

Shinjo aside, thanks again for the well-wishing message!
