His wife, Jeana, is a former Playboy Playmate and this program shows her raising Matt and Jeana's 3 kids - 2 boys and 1 girl. The 2 boys are baseball players and trying to follow in their grandfather (ex-MLBer and Nankai Hawk Marty Keough - 1968; .231, 17 HRs, 46 RBIs) and their father's footsteps.
I grew up watching Matt Keough during his long stay with Hanshin, and I even met the guy one night in Roppongi in 1991, so I always liked him. But this show portrays him in a bad light. They showed a clip of him getting hit by a foul ball in the dugout during spring training in 1992 when he was trying to make the California Angels' roster and he talks about how he had to have emergency brain surgery in order to stay alive. His kids say that he's never been the same since and that's he's always grumpy and depressed. He even leaves for Las Vegas all of the sudden in order to get away from the kids (who seem to be a handful), angering the kids.
Matt's oldest kid, Shane, is 20-years old and a junior college player and his youngest, Colton, is a 14-year old high school player. They are constantly fighting and acting like little kids while the middle kid, Kara, is a 17-year old hottie who is just as immature. No wonder Matt wants to get away from the family so often.
Nevertheless, it is an interesting show to watch if you want to see how Matt Keough and his family are doing nowadays. He makes only brief appearances on the show, but he still looks the same. He still has the Lionel Richie afro and the trademark mustache.
