With professionals? Yeah, someone decided that "faster, higher, stronger" wasn't good enough any more. While I know it's not the way of the world these days, I think it's a travesty.

And they still managed to get beaten 3-1 last night by a representative selection from the two NPB leagues.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

I don't know if anyone else has seen this roster [Asia-Baseball.org], but this team looks absolutly stacked. I'm curious as to your thoughts on the team.
