Slogans!

Discussion in the Open Talk forum
Slogans!
I'm quite new to studying Japanese professional baseball, but have noticed on a couple of the team sites (Tigers, Dragons) that they have official slogans. I imagine that some or all of the other teams have them, too. Since I don't read Japanese, I don't know if this is true. (The Tigers' and Dragons' sites have them in English.)

If the other teams do have official slogans, is there a list of them somewhere? Or, are the sites available in English anywhere?

Thank-you.

Yes, slogans! One of the more entertaining aspects of NPB. Here's a list of the 2003 Slogans

Central League
  • Giants - "Show the Spirit!"
  • Swallows - "Data + Speed & Power"
  • Dragons - "Win the Game! Win the Dream!"
  • Tigers - "Never, Never, Never Surrender!"
  • Carp - "Rising Heart - Takaburu heart de (with hard beating heart)"
  • Baystars - "Start afresh and strive!"
Pacific League
  • Lions - "Full speed to glory!"
  • Buffaloes - "Bring courage and Emotion to Osaka!"
  • Hawks - "Victory again - Fly away Hawks!"
  • Marlins - "Ambition for Victory!"
  • Fighters - "The Spirit to Victory, the passion to victory, the meaning of victory!"
  • BlueWave - "Feel the Ballpark revolution - Get hot Kobe!"
