We want to see Petagine in Venezuela

Discussion in the Open Talk forum
We want to see Petagine in Venezuela
Venezuelans want to see an Petagine come here [to play in the Winter League]. Especially specially the Leones del Caracas' fans. Since 1997 he hasn't returned to play in Venezuela, and it would be great if he pays here more time.

And why do the Japanese teams not allow their Venezuelan players to play baseball here? Just two are going to play (Eddy Diaz and, the best, Alex Cabrera).

I don't know if NPB doesn't allow players to play winter ball in their native country.

One thing is that the post regular season autumn exhibition games go into November; then the players have December off; start individual practices in January; and spring training starts in February.
