I watched "This is Spinal Tap" for the first time in years the other day. I guess this is a message for those of you who have seen it.

Remember the part at the end when the band suddenly and inexplicably become big in Japan and toured the country? I'd never noticed before, but at a Japanese gig, lead guitarist, Nigel Tufnel, is wearing a Sadaharu Oh Giants' jersey. Not bad considering the fact that Oh retired in 1980 and the movie was released in 1984.

I wonder if someone gave the movie makers some pointers about iconic Japanese players whose jerseys they might like Nigel to wear.
