Kazuhiro Yamauchi

Discussion in the Open Talk forum
Kazuhiro Yamauchi
Kazuhiro Yamauchi is "among the career leaders in runs (11th), hits (11th), homers (14th), RBI (12th), and walks (10th). During his career, he frequently was among the seasonal leaders in triple crown categories."

This could apply to several outfielders like Frank Robinson or Mel Ott, but Yamauchi only had decent power when compared with his time period. And a comparison would have to have drawn a lot of walks. Maybe a better correlation would be someone like Stan Musial or Carl Yastrzemski?

I think Yaz is probably the best from those you mentioned.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
