Baseball Card Shops in Shinjuku?

Baseball Card Shops in Shinjuku?
I'll be overnighting in Japan on travel through to the States in October. I have not been to Japan before, and will be staying overnight in Shinjuku (I figured it would be a good place to see "neon" Tokyo). I was hoping to see if I could check out any Japanese Baseball Card Shops whilst there.

Can anybody advise me on the locations of any baseball card stores around Shinjuku?

I will not have time to get to any other location - will get into Narita in the evening before going straight to the hotel in Shinjuku. Will then only have the next morning to shop before having to get back out to Narita. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

The only one I know is actually in Akihabara (which is fairly close). It is very near the station on the 7th floor of one of the blocks.

I was going to suggest going to the Tokyo Dome shop, but I'm not sure whether it's closer or further. About 20 minutes by subway, I'd say. Akihabara's also like 15-20 minutes though.

Tokyo Dome is about 10-15 minutes from Shinjuku by Chuo Line (if you get the right train). Akihabara will be about 20-25 minutes by Yamanote Line. It's best to use the above ground train as it's cheaper and often quicker.

- Tokyo Dome is about 10-15 minutes from Shinjuku by Chuo Line (if you get the right train).

Just to avoid any possible confusion, Christopher means the "Chuo Line (Local)" a.k.a. the "Sobu Line." It's trains are silver and yellow, not orange like the regular Chuo ones, and are caught from a different platform.

You have no idea how long I stood around and walked around Chiba Station when I was 17 years old, trying to figure that out before I finally asked an attendant. Great advice.

Could someone help me find a site that shows all the baseball players in Japan? I'd like to see Tuffy's and Nitcowski's pictures.

Thanks.
