Who is Toru Hosokawa?
The 24-year-old Seibu catcher is hitting .455/.520/1.364 through his first 8 games. Yeowza!

Let's just see how he holds up until the middle of the season (60 or so games). It's been only 8 games and you can't really say he is the next superstar. That's like saying if you have a great spring training, you will have a great season.

Actually, it's been 14 games now, and he's still hitting .350/.422/.875.

Never said he's the next superstar. But 24-year-old catchers producing 1.297 OPS's through their first 46 TPA are worthy of some attention.
