Who is faster, Ichiro or Akahoshi? (This question is intentionally broad and vague so as to inspire diverse and creative answers.)

I would say Akahoshi is faster than Ichiro. This is not to say Ichiro is slow, but he would not be considered one of the fastest in Japan. For example Aoki (Swallows) and Soyogi (Carp) would also be faster. Hanshin also has a player faster than Akahoshi - Akamatsu - but he cannot break into the top team on a permanent basis.
