Japanese for "Inter-League Play"?
I see the kanji for inter-league play on Japanese sites and my guess is "koh___sen" - the middle character I know is the kanji used in "slicing the ball" or "hitting it the other way" (nagashi-uchi), but I'm sure it's the other reading.

I've added it to the page of terms in the Pro Yakyu Wiki. Scroll all the way down to the "General" section.

In short, it's pronounced "koh-ryu-sen." The "ryu" is the same as Ochiai-kantoku's infamous "ore-ryu" or "my-way" pre-season work outs when he was a ball player. (The press has played with that a lot, changing the "ryu" to also be the character for dragon - but that's a different story.)

Hope this helps.

Kouryu in Japanese means "exchange," sen means "match". So if you put it together, you should figure out the meaning, I suppose.
