New Rules at Koshien

New Rules at Koshien
Anyone know what exactly spurred them at Koshien to finally fall in line and not allow cans and PET bottles inside? Is this really a safety issue or just a ploy to sell a few more 600 yen beers? (At least they do let you pour your beer into a paper cup, but this cuts down on the number of beers you would bring in.)

Common sense.

Given that Tigers fans DO throw these at the players if they do badly it was a sensible and overdue move.

Makes sense. It had just always seemed strange before that they were not allowed into Skymark but WERE allowed into Koshien, when Koshien obviously attracts a much rowdier crowd. At least it still beats the US for what they do allow you to bring into the ballparks here.
